Thrifted Era exists because secondhand sneakers are sold with adjectives instead of evidence. We replaced the adjectives with a bench, a grading sheet and a camera.

From a mat on the roadside to a premium sneaker stall.
Thrifted Era didn't start in a shop. It started on a roadside in Faisalabad, with a spread rug, a pile of secondhand sneakers and two guys willing to sit there all day for the right buyer to walk past. No signage, no shelves — just shoes laid out on the ground and a phone number if you liked something.
That's where the eye for a good pair got trained: which soles still had life in them, which uppers were worth cleaning up, which "like new" claims from sellers were actually true. Every pair that made it onto the mat had already survived one round of rejection.
What we couldn't build on a roadside was trust at scale — a buyer online can't inspect the stitching in your hand. So the mat became a stall: proper shelving, each pair displayed, graded and photographed the same honest way we used to size them up by eye. The rug is gone. The habit of checking every pair before it's sold isn't.
A hunt that turned into a bench.
It began as a personal habit — weekend thrift runs looking for one-of-one pairs that nobody else in the city would be wearing. The finds were real. The way they were sold was not: no sizing truth, no condition notes, no photos of the sole.
So we built the opposite. Every pair we buy gets stripped down, inspected under light, measured and photographed before it ever touches a listing. If the tread is at 60%, the listing says 60%.
Today Thrifted Era runs like a small forensic shop with a storefront attached — one graded pair per listing, priced for exactly what it is.

Sourcing runs
We comb thrift lots, bale drops and private sellers across the country. Most pairs get rejected on the spot — only real, wearable kicks make the van.
Bench inspection
Each pair goes on the bench: stitching, midsole compression, tread depth, insole wear, glue lines, odour. We photograph the flaws, not around them.
Grade & price
Grade A, B or C — plainly defined, never inflated. The price follows the grade, so you pay for the condition you actually receive.
Clean & release
Deep clean, relace where needed, listed with full condition notes. When it's gone, it's gone — there is no second unit.
Three grades. No euphemisms.
Every listing carries one letter. The letter means the same thing on every pair we sell.
Near deadstock
Minimal wear, sharp midsole, full tread. Looks new in hand.
Worn honestly
Visible creasing or light scuffs, structurally solid, plenty of life left.
Character pairs
Heavy wear or a repaired detail — documented, discounted, still wearable.
